Got an idea? Come pitch it!

Sept 15th and December 1st, 2026 | 5:00–7:00 PM
Slate Innovation Lab | Mount Royal University

Pitch It! is a casual mini pitch competition for Mount Royal University students who want to test an idea, practice pitching, get feedback, and compete for cash prizes.

You don’t need a business plan, polished slides, or previous pitching experience. Bring an idea you’re excited about and make your case.

Each participant gets:

  • 3 - 5 minutes to pitch

  • 2 minutes of questions from the judges

  • Feedback from experienced entrepreneurs and alumni

  • A chance to compete for cash prizes

  • An opportunity to meet other students who are building, creating, and experimenting

Slides are optional, and you can pitch individually or with one teammate.

Only 10 pitch spots are available on a first come, first served basis. The sign-up board opens in the Slate Innovation Lab at 4:30 PM on the day of the event. Once all 10 spots are filled, additional students will be added to a waitlist if space becomes available.

Not ready to pitch? Come cheer on your classmates, vote on your fav pitch, meet other students with ideas, and see what people are building.

Up to $1000 in prizes are given away at each Pitch It!
